MARINE KILLED IN AFGHAN BLAST NAMED

A 32-year-old Royal Marine killed in an explosion in Afghanistan has been formally named.


Corporal Damian "Dee" Mulvihill of 40 Commando Royal Marines was killed in Helmand Province.

The marine, from Plymouth, was taking part in a patrol to disrupt Taliban activity when the blast took place, the Ministry of Defence said.
