BE SURE NOT TO CROSS JENNY

Thursday May 24,2007

JUST how thin is the line between art imitating life?

One hopes it is very thick indeed when it comes to actress Jenny Seagrove.

For Jenny, 49, right, who is starring in a West End revival of Somerset Maugham’s tale of intrigue, The Letter, as the wife of a Malaysian rubber planter who denies a murder, admits she could be capable of killing someone in real life.

“Only in self defence, or if someone I loved was being threatened,” says the deceptively fragile-looking long-time partner of theatre impresario Bill Kenwright.

She’s clearly a lady on whose right side it’s best to stay.
