Victoria Beckham has ins-isted that husband David has a state-of-the-art American satellite navigation system installed in his car so he will not get lost in the mean streets of Los Angeles.

The couple are moving to the USA this summer when the former England captain joins the LA Galaxy soccer team in a reported £128million, five-year deal.

They have bought a mansion in the plush millionaires’ playground of Beverly Hills, which is at least an hour’s drive from the football ground in Carson.

And David will have to make the trip passing by the “no-go” areas of Compton and Watts. So his wife has put her foot down and told David to get his car kitted up with US satnav equipment.

An insider who works with Victoria said: “She’s really excited about starting a new life in LA. They’ve bought a house but David will have to drive between two and three hours a day, depending on traffic, to get to the ground and back for training.

“Victoria’s attention has been drawn to the fact that two notorious areas lie on the way to Carson, so she’s insisted David gets a good navigation system in his car so he doesn’t get lost in some dangerous neighbourhood.”

The source added: “David’s not as worried but he’s agreed to keep Victoria happy and stop her worrying when he leaves the house each day.”

If you are sooo worried why move there????
Ok lets hit this form another angle.... if you are so worried get him a driver who know the area... lots of limo companies in LA...
Ok another slant....
Ms Beckham.... because you are hanging around Tom Cruise and the scientology crowd to make yourself famous and maybe get a film role doesnt make you an instant target in the US.
You know something People here dont know who you are or David and basically couldnt careless. Soccer as they call it here is a nowhere sport played mainly by girls in School. The MLS ( Major League Soccer) wouldnt stand up to the Pub leagues in the UK. Its a joke just a response to USA wanting the Money from hosting the World cup. To be honest David Beckham is too good for this league and should have played out his career in Europe.
The move here is for Victorias wants and believe me the marriage wont last if they get involved in scientology. Its seen by many as a rich persons cult. I believe Ms Beckham sees it as a stepping stone to fame. To be honest its a stepping stone to divorce. David may appear dumb at times but I believe that he sees the scientologist for what they are.
VIctoria before you finalise your move here look at a couple of things.... You need to be less of a prima donna , you need to stop trying to make you and your family look like targets. You need to Embrase the american people not alienate them . Stop thinkin you are better than everyone else. To be honest if you had talent you would be a star here already.
Oh before people call me an American calling a brit.... I am a Brit from manchester origionally. I moved to Usa and you know what.... People treat me very well because i respect them!!
