PARIS GETS DOLLED UP

Friday May 18,2007

Twit girl Paris Hilton’s forthcoming stint behind bars is proving to be big business – with T-shirts, mugs and even prisoner Paris dolls up for grabs.

The dolls, dressed in raunchy versions of the overalls that the 26-year-old will wear in jail, have attracted scores of bids on internet auction sites.

Sandy Kelley, 45, from West Virginia, is one of many selling the cheekily customised dolls (below), having been inspired by the hotel heiress’s conviction for driving offences for which she will now serve a reduced 23-day prison sentence at a women-only prison in Los Angeles.

“I’m sure Paris wouldn’t mind. Everyone knows how she loves to be the centre of attention,” says Sandy.

But while she will get none of the profits from the bootleg merchandise, Paris is rumoured to be cashing in on her incarceration with a TV and book deal.

PARIS GETS DOLLED UP

18.05.07, 10:03pm

Paris Hilton is a stunningly beautiful girl. If she had lived a century or so ago, gagged, groomed and whaleboned, she would have had the British male aristocracy kneeling at her feet. Perhaps even a Prince. Then it was the fashion to buy a title with daddy's money,to bring the family castle out of decay, the silver out of hock and quickly produce one or two healthy heirs. All this before gratefully slipping into the social whirl of lovers and house parties, leaving her chinless wonder hubby happy with his horses and dogs. Whom he treated with a lot more affection and respect than he ever gave his wife. That was then and this is now. Prison instead of a castle, champagne out of a plastic cup instead of a slipper and a paddy wagon in place of coach and horses. On second thoughts, she would fit in well with our present day rollicking drunken and carousing royalty..............
