COLE IN WARNING FOR CITY

Cole looks poised to quit Portsmouth and complete a permanent move to St Andrew’s after their swift return back to the Premiership.

The ex-England striker has spearheaded City towards four victories since arriving on loan and boss Bruce is desperate to keep him.

Cole said: “They are going to have to spend a right few quid. I don’t think anyone is under any illusions but I think they will do just that.

“If you get the right players in the right areas, then you’ve got a chance.”
