SOCIAL FALLOUT OF ECONOMY CRASH IS SOME CHALLENGE

Monday September 1,2008

WITH the title Responding To Economic Challenges, a leaked Home Office memo sounds like just another example of bland management speak.

Why are disasters always to be referred to as “challenges”?

But the contents themselves are pure dynamite, for it was intended that only Gordon Brown should see this document in which Home Secretary Jacqui Smith sets out in stark terms the consequences of an economic downturn on crime, immigration and security.

Violence, smuggling and burglary are likely to increase while a financially stretched police force will be less able to cope.

It is also predicted that there will be a backlash against migrants and that “sensitivities about access to services and employment could be heightened”.

Terrorism and far-Right extremism are also mentioned as an indirect result of the economic slowdown.

This assessment is based on statistics about violent offences in the last recession of the early Nineties, when there was an increase of 19 per cent.

The remarks are particularly galling as many of those opposed to open-door immigration, including this newspaper, have long warned of the social fallout of Labour’s policy.

Equally disconcerting is the memo’s acknowledgement that our economic outlook is grim. Indeed, this Home Office memo simply reinforces the Chancellor’s gloomy assessment that Britain has not been in a worse predicament for 60 years.

Gordon Brown was supposed to be the recipient of this memo. What it doesn’t spell out is that it is all his fault.

THE END OF THE ROAD FOR LABOUR AND WESTMINSTER.

01.09.08, 8:17pm

At last the stupidity of this Government is out in the open for all to see.
The next step is for our"Golden Gordon", to call an Election for the middle of October or November. With his record, who is going to lend this Government any money or finance any more PFI contracts?
As I have been saying for some years now, time for the working Taxpayers to take control of Taxation and, just as Westminster gave our Sovereignty to Europe, we will remove their, Westminster's, power to levy Taxation. It is a simple manoeuvre and quite legal.
Then we can invest the power over Taxation in our Elected County Councillors and as Taxpayers ask them to take charge of Public Service Funding. In that fashion, our actions would be perfectly legal.
Enough for now, time for bed.
Regards, ATFlynn, "Norfolk's Mutineer"

THE "EXPERT" ANALYSIS.

01.09.08, 8:17pm

I cannot believe this hyperbolic prattle of a Minister of a government. What genius!!!!! If tough times are coming, crime will increase, and racial tension may increase !!!!!!. Really?.The rocketing (sorry) cost of fuel will cause airlines all over the world to crash (sorry). At least that may put an end to cartloads of our boys and girls going abroad to get drunk, pee all over the streets, have sex with as big an audience as possible etc etc. A challenge?. A result more like. The inevitable. The booze and sex country hits the skids. You put 'em in, now pay the price (if you've and money or guts left). Just what does anyone think all the years of blindness to the obvious has culminated in?. Please Mr. and Mrs Brit, try to wake up before your backsides get in a sling that you are not going to get out of. It's hands up time.

SOCIAL FALLOUT OF ECONOMY CRASH IS SOME CHALLENGE.

Some challenge....! Not keen on this phraseology, terminology. Not easy, ' if challenged,' Who / what raises this challenge.
A hunting animal chooses its prey, its method of disposal, sometimes gets in the midst of its prey, 'fox' for example, remember the character given to Reynard fox, crafty.
Personally preferring competence, ability, run of the mill sort of thing, confident assured, 'not overly.' not an everyday, everything, probability /possibility, that crops up, or raises it's head to be a challenge !...... Take it in ones stride ?

This memo evidently was deliberately "leaked" and represents clearly a government steeped in wrongdoing and treason that only knows how to govern by fear.

We need Hugo Chavez in Britain. He is a better and more responsible national manager than our gauleiters could ever dream of being.
