Scolari, 59, was named as Chelsea’s new manager on a four-year deal worth £24million on Wednesday night – and will begin his job when Euro 2008 ends. [>

Abramovich visited the dressing room frequently when Jose Mourinho and his successor, Avram Grant, managed the club. [>
[> But Abramovich has agreed to Scolari’s rules and from now on will stay out of the playing areas. [>
A source close to Brazilian Scolari said last night: “The agreement was a clear part of the conversation between Scolari and Abramovich that preceded him signing. Scolari is the only person who goes in the dressing room. No suits and ties.” [>
Scolari will also be bringing to Chelsea his trusted No2, Flavio “Murtosa” Teixeira – the man who has been described as Scolari’s ‘secret weapon’ and his eyes in the dressing room. [>
The pair have already drawn up a list of transfer targets that they want to lure to Stamford Bridge, including Samuel Eto’o from Barcelona, AC Milan’s Kaka and Portugal stars Deco and Ricardo Quaresma. [>
Teixeira told the Daily Express last night: “We have been given the freedom to establish a comprehensive list of players that we want to bring to Chelsea.” [>
