THIS promising graduate was beaten to death by teenage jobs after sticking up for himself.

Evren Anil was brutally killed after confronting two youngsters who threw a half-eaten chocolate bar through his sister's car window.

In yet another example of violent Britain, the 23-year-old, who had just started a new job, was seized on, punched to the ground and left to die.

Today a 17-year-old from Tottenham, north London, admitted to manslaughter. A 16-year-old, from Thornton Heath, south-east London, admitted to the charges yesterday.

Mr Anil fell into a coma after hitting his head on the pavement during the dispute in Crystal Palace, south-east London in August last year.

He died eight days later in hospital.

The trial was due to begin at the Old Bailey on Monday.

Mr Anil was with his 26-year-old sister Elif, who was driving the car, when teenagers threw rubbish through an open window as they waited for traffic lights.

The 17-year-old admitted throwing a chocolate bar wrapper through the window and taking out a knife to frighten Mr Anil but claimed he did not intend to use it.

Jo Korner QC, prosecuting, said: “There was some physical contact between the two involving the deceased grabbing the defendant’s T-shirt. This resulted in the defendant punching the deceased.”

A judge told the pair, who cannot be named because of their ages: “It seems to me custody is the appropriate outcome.” They will be sentenced at a later date.

At the time of the killing Detective Chief Inspector Cliff Lyons said: “We have got a 23-year-old university graduate starting his way in life, with a new job and a close-knit family.

“He challenges their behaviour and this is what happens. People say ’Why did he get out of the car?’ People are entitled to challenge these yobs’ behaviour."

Yeah, yobs should be challenged, have you ever tried challenging an ordinary man in the street ?
Don't bother " majority of people don't enjoy "home truths" Of course you should bother " if you carry a gun to defend yourself, and are prepared to kill for your principles ! Go ahead thats what is called for in this period of time.
Mind You, you'd be nabbed for genocide !

BRING BACK CAPITAL PUNISHMENT BY LETHAL INJECTION...

Bring back capital punishment by lethal injection. With DNA there is no excuse not to make the punishment fit the crime. We need a deterrent and long prison sentences are not working.

I have just come back from a mixed martial art reality session. This incident mirrors everything that I train to escape in some way. Idealy it is always best to take the confrontation out of the situation in the first place. A broken ego is much better than having your head kicked in. However this is easy to say for someone outside this incident but we do not know what was going on inside the victims head. ( was he having a bad day and exploded etc). It is also easy for us to say that we are going to challenge these yobs and respond to there ill behaviour. However the reality of it is not like in a movie, you may get knifed. The mentality of some people in our society is frightening. But violence is not always a negative thing. If i was walking down the street and a thug came up to me and it became obvious he was interested in hurting me then I do not know to what extent he is going to go. Therefore my response has to be effective as possible. If I ended up hurting this thug then many people in our society would see me as the thug. However "better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6" .

Another unnecessary tragedy, if the gutless wonders those within the inept and spineless collective (government along with the judiciary and supposed, enforcers) didn’t mollycoddle the scumbag, lowlifes perpetrating these heinous crimes.
A promising life snuffed out by, loutish, sots aided and abetted by the blunder-heads of a leftist bent. One can understand how and why vigilantism sets root, when a society is patently permitted to be overrun by murderous and anarchical thugs.
It is time to toss the spineless amoebas from power and their lofty comrades from their ivory towers. It is we and our families whom walk the streets, pay taxes, consequently for what? Nought!
My prayers to this young man's family and the numerous victims of yobs and repugnant Labour!

These thugs must have special knifes that decide to attack people by themselfs because every case reported they all same the same old bull....t ' I only had it for self-defence' 'I never intended to use it'.

I'll tell you why people don't get involved because you run the real risk of being either beaten to a pulp, stabbed or shot to death.

If you're lucky to survive you then run the risk of obtaining a criminal record, sued or losing your job.

If your even luckier you'll get to attend the court farce and watch these toe rags get a slap on the wrist.

They'll then find out where you live to intimidate you and your family. Police will do nothing only to tell you if you take the law into your own hands you'll be arrested.

It's a joke.

This country in the next 20 years or so will make Mad Max look like a disney film. Ghetto Britain here we are!
