THE Archbishop of Canterbury was accused of surrendering to Muslim extremists last night by calling for Islamic sharia law to rule in parts of Britain.

Dr Rowan Williams claimed incorporating aspects of the Muslim legal system into UK law was now “unavoidable” and “appropriate” and said believers should not have to choose between “the stark alternatives of cultural loyalty or state loyalty”.

The Church of England’s most senior cleric also backed demands for Islamic courts to settle divorces and other disputes between Muslims living in Britain.

But his remarks sparked a storm of protest last night. Sharia law has been used to justify stoning, beheadings and other brutal punishments in many Muslim countries. In extreme cases, Islamic courts have even put people to death for
converting to Christianity.

BUT, Militant Islam is only part of the problem! Quietly, lawfully, peacefully, Islamists do their work throughout the West to impose aspects of Islamic law, win special privileges for themselves, shut down criticism of Islam, create Muslim-only zones, and deprive women and non-Muslims of their full civil rights.

Recent examples of lawful Islamism include:

* Leading Muslim students in prayer at a public San Diego elementary school (the US has a constitutional separation of church and stae).
* Allowing cab drivers in Vancouver, B.C. to refuse certified guide dogs for reasons of religious conviction.
* Admonishing doctors and nurses in Scotland to refrain from eating in front of their Muslim patients and colleagues during the month of Ramadan.
* Proposing in the Netherlands that people of all faiths refer to God as Allah in order to “create more dialogue.”
* The Archbishop of Canterbury’s arguing that adopting elements of Sharia law in Britain would benefit social cohesion.
* Allowing members of polygamous marriages to claim extra welfare benefits in Britain.
* Sponsoring a Muslim lifeguard program for the benefit of private female sessions at the city pool in Mississauga, Canada.
* Dropping Knorbert the piglet as mascot of Fortis Bank for fear of offending Muslims.

… those of you who have trawled the Express, Telegraph, Daily Mail, or BNP websites, will of course be able to add to this list. The Islamist “Lawfare”.. as opposed to "Warfare" challenge poses an increasingly serious threat to our democratic freedoms. Should the voices of counter-terrorism researchers and activists be silenced, a real possibility exists that the criticism of radical Islam within our borders will end.

The BNP is the ONLY UK-registered political party that can see the writing on the wall. Nick Griffin was almost jailed for 7 years for doing what the BBC did last week, in exposing Muslim men grooming white British children for prostitution. The Beeb, of course, used the word "Asian" which, I am sure, has upset many Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs and Chinese people, to find themselves lumped in with Muslims. We must STOP the erosion of free speech in the name of appeasement that is part and parcel of the multicultural experiment that is devastating communities across Britain. NO to appeasement, YES to free speech. YES to the BNP:

What are you on mate, and again what has this to do with religion?

And then your final gem ..."If Sharia law was adapted and British law was disposed of altogether, it would probably cut the crime rate down to zero"

And now you finally show your hand, tell us please, just what do you base this ludicrous statement on? these are the words of a muslim, but a stupid muslim never the less

GO BACK TO SQUARE ONE

Get rid of PC and the liberal do-gooders and implement our laws, we did not have all these problems when they were implemented.
No one is above the law of the land so why so many "adjustments" because of human rights,
prison should not mean a place where people do not mind too much going back to,no one has to break the law its their choice, some of the old ways may again be the best ways as has been proven in other areas time and again .
Make the punishment fit the crime and not let the HRA get in the way, the lawyers might be the poorer but would that matter?

BECOMING A MUSLIM

I am thinking of becoming a Muslim because I agree with Sharia law and proper punishment to fit the crime.
Sharia law to me seems quite acceptable as law and order in this country has broken down completely. With hooded youths and indeed children in schools out of control, I feel that Sharia law is the only answer and should replace our law system which appears to favour the criminal.
People used to look toward this country for guidance, but with the House of Parliament and nearly all its members pocketing money, which they are not entitled to, and our courts not being able to dish out proper custodial sentences. Hardened criminals being set free early to roam the streets, I do not feel safe anymore.
I read in the paper that prisoners in jails are treated as if they are staying in a five star hotel, with chefs cooking gourmet meals for them. Any normal thinking person would not agree with this as these prisoners should be made to do some hard labour to cure them and make them understand that prison is something not to look forward too.
I also think it is wrong that elderly people are now struggling to find money to buy some decent food when inmates in prisons get four course meals and every other luxury.
With surveillance cameras watching our ever move, parking meters everywhere, it appears that the government is only interested in getting more and more of our money which we have worked hard for, just to line their own pockets.
If Sharia law was adapted and British law was disposed of altogether, it would probably cut the crime rate down to zero. The trouble with British law is that it favours barristers, lawyers, accountants, all these make top money by defending criminals at the public expense, whereas Sharia would do all this for nothing.
