RELATIONSHIP ‘OVER BEFORE CRASH’

Story Image

Diana's friend has announced that the couple's relationship was over

Monday January 7,2008

By Nicola McCafferty for express.co.uk

THE relationship between Diana, Princess of Wales and Dodi Fayed was finished weeks before the crash, a friend of the Princess told the inquest today.

Rodney Turner, a personal friend of Diana who supplied her with luxury cars, revealed that the Princess told him not to “fuss” as their relationship had ended.

He described the revelation Diana made in a letter that the Prince of Wales was planning to have her killed as a "bombshell."

The HR Owen director enjoyed a business relationship with the Princess in late 1995 when he began supplying her with BMW cars.

His son also attended the prestigious Eton College public school where Diana’s sons, Princes William and Harry, both studied, the inquest was told.

Speaking on his relationship with Diana, Mr Turner told the hearing in central London: “What she said to me was that it was all over, which was really a shock to me.”

He said the Princess told him: “Don’t fuss, don’t fuss. It’s all over. I’ve had a wonderful time.”

HOW HILARIOUSLY TRAGIC...

07.01.08, 11:50pm

Nice to see the papers splashing a selective quote which is not contextualised within the full framework of the witness's later comments in order to produce the most sensational headline. Yet again.

Lies, damned lies and statistics?

Lies, damned lies and newspaper versions of things that we can all read online thanks to the Coroner and know that we are being force fed crap by the British media, more like.

ANOTHER TRUTH ?????????????

07.01.08, 7:39pm

If he knew her so well, why was he not aware of her fears of being killed in a car, after all, he was in the game, maybe he could have been the hired killer on behalf of the Prince.
This is all shite, if anything was to be done by the establishment, I would have thought that they just wanted her to lose a child, or become incapable of carrying a half brother or sister. If it indeed happened, then somebody got lucky that night, two for one and one sad survivor that remembers what suits him. He was lucky to live but I think he has fear of being the fourth victim just in case the rumours might be true.

WHAT GARBAGE

07.01.08, 3:57pm

Does anyone really think Diana confided in this man? He rented her BMW cars. They had a business relationship no a social one. All anyone has to do is look at the photos taken of Diana and Dodi the night of the crash - Diana holding Dodi's hand, leaning into him, sitting close to him in the car.

ANOTHER WORM CRAWLING OUT OF THE WOODWORK CLAIMING.......

07.01.08, 2:54pm

Another worm crawling out of the woodwork claiming to be Diana's friend, many of whom she did not trust. I daresay that this is another utter piece of nonsense in order to discredit the assassination theory. Let's face it, if these latest words of wind was/are to be believed then it would invalidate the Diana/Dodi relationship as being the reason behind her death. Wonder who is the real source behind this latest claim? Does tend to make one wonder does it not?
