FANCY SOME BIRTHDAY SAX, BILL?

Friday August 10,2007

Former US President Bill Clinton is, we can reveal, in for a bit of a surprise when he appears at the IndigO2 venue at London’s O2 Dome next Tuesday to talk about globalisation.

For Clinton, who occupied the White House for eight years from 1993 in a tenure marked by sexual affair allegations, celebrates his 61st birthday on August 19. “Word is there are a few surprises set up for after the various speeches,” says a spokeswoman.

“We don’t know exactly what it will be, perhaps a cake or something to do with saxophones, as he does like the sax, or maybe even something to do with Prince as he is playing nearby.”

How about Prince, dressed in the American flag, playing the sax and jumping out of a cake?
