UK NEWSDALGLISH SCARE DUO IN COURT
Dalglish was not connected to the incident Wednesday November 4,2009 By Daily Express ReporterTWO men yesterday admitted their part in an incident that saw a hand grenade left outside the home of former Scotland star Kenny Dalglish.
The grenade was found on the garden wall of the ex-Celtic and Liverpool footballer’s house in July. The incident was not connected to Mr Dalglish, 58 . At Liverpool Crown Court, Mark Johnston, 21, of Liverpool, and Carl Higgins, 29, of Huyton, pleaded guilty to conspiring to damage property and recklessly endangering lives. Simon Lewis Ignacio, 28, of Liverpool, denied the charges. All were remanded in custody. The Army bomb squad was called to the house in Birkdale, Southport, to get rid of the device.
