HEARTS SECURE POLISH DEFENDER KUCHARSKI

HEARTS have tied up for a move for Polish defender Dawid Kucharski.

The 24-year-old arrived in Edinburgh at the weekend to complete his move from Lech Poznan and will travel with the Jambos on their tour of Germany today.

Kucharski knocked back a contract from Poznan to try his luck at Tynecastle.

The former Amica Wronki youngster will become Csaba Laszlo's third signing of the summer.He has already snapped up Ian Black from Inverness and Suso Santana from Tenerife.

Kucharski is the long-term replacement Laszlo has been searching for after Christophe Berra's January move to Wolves.
German midfielder Tibor Heber and Austrian and David Witteveen are also on the Tynecastle radar.
