A MANNING MAULING

Wednesday June 20,2007

HAVING ensured he had his say from beyond the grave by writing his obituary, comedian Bernard Manning will also have the last laugh at his critics on the small screen.

As this column revealed in 2005, he filmed a TV obituary to wreak revenge on his rivals.

But the documentary, in which he reveals a host of showbusiness secrets, will have a ghostly air as he said
it could be screened only after his death.

“The people who crossed Bernard during his 76 years will undoubtedly be quaking in their boots,” says our source
in the director’s room. “He was outspoken during his life and even though he’s gone, he’ll still be bellowing out his views.”
