JULIE SLAMS TARANTINO

Tuesday June 19,2007

FRENCH star Julie Delpy has slammed cult director Quentin Tarantino, of Pulp Fiction fame, for his callous treatment of women in his movies.

The petite actress and screenwriter, 37, whose films include Before Sunset, which she co-wrote, criticised Tarantino for making so many of his leading ladies meet a grisly end.

“I hate films in which women are treated like rubbish,” says Delpy.

“That whole Tarantino thing about beating up women and killing them and chopping them up. Just because you have the mind of a 12-year-old… I don’t want to be your fantasy.”

Tarantino, incidentally, is 44.
