It is a mystery to me why Labour has narrowed the Tory lead in some opinion polls. It is said Gordon Brown – and his sidekick Alistair Darling – are having a good financial crisis.

Labour won three elections BY CONNING THE ELECTORATE WITH HOLLOW PROMISES, RHETORIC AND SPIN.

For the last 11 years they have been the most DUPLICIOUS, INEPT and INCOMPETENT Government in the whole of British History.

Labour inherited an economy IN THE BLACK. THEY HAVE RASHLY AND INCOMPETENTLY SQUANDERED EVERYTHING AND IT IS JOE PUBLIC WHO IS PAYING THE PRICE.

God help Middle England if my some horrific misfortune they were voted in again. We will ALL be totally bled dry and ultimately Britain will be totally sold out by Labour to the EU.

The comments so far say it all. I need add little.
He inherited a superb, growing economy and single-handedly destroyed it. My beef, 'cos I'm old, is his blowing apart of the pension funds. Brilliant move. Oh, and flogging off the gold reserves. And throwing money at problems, which any fool kno, doesn't work.

And, as you've pointed out, he's now our saviour. Yuck!

This clown has been busy destroying this country’s economic future over the last 11 years just to ensure his own succession to power.

Now despite the damage he has done he has now branded himself as the saviour of the economy. What a travesty!

Dont need hindsight, knew he was a disaster from the beggining. Mind you Bliar said Brown was the best Chancellor for a 100 years, but we all know that Blair never told the truth

Mr Brown was able to take avantage it,
doubling public spending from 350b to
nearer 600b. Most of the money came
from international markets, its not that
suprising that labour saw it as a better
wealth creation than Industry.

Now this money is acting like a tap
on any further growth. I don't really
see how the market fudging proposed
on Monday will change anything.

Perhaps there'll be more calls for
protectionism as things deteriorate.

Of course it was short sighted, but
New labour had their day in the sun.

Yes thanks for everything Gordy,everythings going according to plan we're well on the way to the social destruction of this once great nation!! We are a nation of debtors now and we're unashamed of it!! Obese kids never leave their computer screens,other kids are turning to alcohol and drugs,every country evacuates their bowels into our country! Yes all their criminals and spongers come over here to be supported by us.....Yes Gordy you've done well for your NWO puppet masters we'll soon have ''one world currency'' Some of us plebs on the ground know what you're up to!!
