Lying under oath is perjury no matter what your explanation for doing it. Protecting the Queen? If I were the Queen, I would not want to be associated with such.

Set up? If you haven't done anything wrong you cannot be considered to be set up, stitched up, whatever you want to call it.

I don't speak for other Americans but I would like to think that many here who come in touch with this liar and profiteer would be put off by him.

Profiting from a person whom you claimed to have such regard for, making money out your friendship with her once she is dead, is hardly my idea of an English gentleman. Any nationality gentleman.

Burrell puts me in mind of Hewitt who caused the Princess so much pain, and who also made money out of is so-called friendship with her.

Princess Diana was let down by a lot of people. The Fayeds, the Windsors, the Parker-Bowles, the Burrells, the Hewitts. Only one was a true gentleman and reveres her memory and respects her, and that is Hasnat Khan. Best wishes to you, sir, you are all that these royals and their hangers on are not and never were.

The question on everyone's mind now will be, how can one know for sure in the future when he is telling the truth or, as he so frivolously labels lying to a judge and jury, he is simply "tossing a red herring " or two?

With the publishing of his first book Burrell earn't the respect of the Diana Court, especially as he brought into the public view the letter that Diana had written explaining how she expected to be murdered in a car crash and who would be behind it.
It was brave of Burrell to keep this letter safely , clearly had he handed it over to the Metropolitan Police , they would have hidden it as they did with other evidence.

Burrells first book balanced the scales against the enormous windsor media campaign against Diana's memory . Clearly Burrell got lent on and this worried him, His Court apperance and summons, the search for Edinburghs letters through Burrells house and effects, resulted in Burrells second book that was designed to appease the windsors once again and keep him out of the Tunnels and "accidents". This latest book and appalling Court appearence unfortunately alienated him from the Diana supporters that he once enjoyed. Burrell should have realised that you can't change sides in a war, and No Mans land is now the domain for "Burrell no mates."

Lets hope Burrell comes to Court without the Radio receiver in his ear , this time.

Paul Burrell is a classic attention-seeker. As for being Diana's rock as he is always pointing out, if he was such a thing and thought anything of the Princess or her family, he would show more respect for her memory.

So ... this lying self-promoting exploiting dolt of a royal servant has now opened his big trap just once too often.

HAH ! It was inevitable, and merely a question of time.

Now that Mouth Almighty Burrell has made millions out of spinning his false "rock" status with Diana, poncing around on the USA stage where gullible yanks cannot see him for the lowlife betraying individual that he is, we the British people look forward to seeing him getting his just deserts and a 10-year prison sentence for PERJURY.

(Well, he has already ADMITTED it, so let's see him face the consequences.)

Is he any better than Aitken or Archer ? Too damn right he isn't !

The hour is nigh. Be afraid, Burrell. Be VERY afraid. And listen to Jonathan and Geoffrey - make sure you don't bend down in the shower to pick up the soap. Or you will be on the receiving end of exactly what you have done to the memory of Diana.
