RATONTHEBEAM - I'M ASKING THE SAME QUESTION. NOTHING ON MADELEINE, BUT PLENTY ON THE MURDERERS, RAPISTS - AND OH YES, LIAR AND PROFITEER BURRELL!

23.02.08, 9:07pm

This little girl has taken a back seat to even news about the England team, the new manager, Manchester United, and oh yes, Fayed's insults.

I am very disappointed. I have been a faithful reader of the Daily Express, reading between the lines to sift out the attention worthy.

When newspapers give these murderers their days on end in the press, they are not doing people in general any favors. Let them rot in obscurity. Ditto Burrell, let him go his way in Florida. Why give prominence to this arch liar An insult to British jurisprudence.

Sad.

AN EYE FOR AN EYE

22.02.08, 11:33pm

This man should not be fed, watered and pampered by the tax payer.
Abolish the human rights act that protects the criminal and ignores the victims and their families.

DEATH PENALTY IN CONCLUSIVE CASES

22.02.08, 3:47pm

Both Dixie and Wright have been found guilty of horrendous murders, and still we have the anti death penalty arguments. As with these two, the results are conclusive and in cases like these, the death penalty should be brought back in. These scum took the lives of others and so should pay with their lives. This will also free up prison space and give the relatives of the victims some form of satisfaction. I must be careful what I say on death penalties on here, as last time I mentioned it, I got my letter removed. Am I ok this time adjudicators?

IT'S A CATCH 22

22.02.08, 3:21pm

I think anybody who commits murder should spend the rest of their life in jail, but I am not in favour of what it costs to keep them there. Without the death penalty this is a bit of a catch 22. Maybe they should be made to sell their assets in order to pay their keep (so to speak)

WRIGHT ANOTHER TAX PAYERS BURDEN.

22.02.08, 12:01pm

When for his crimes he should be executed. I am afraid the Government now needs to debate the death penalty issue because it will not go away.

MURDERER!

22.02.08, 11:19am

Unfortunately he is still alive and costing the taxpayer a lot of money, and will continue to do so until he dies! I believe for this type of crime, thought through premeditated murder, he should be executed! And anyone else in this position should also die.
