And I suppose the yobs with knives are going to stand quietly and calmly while being examined for traces of metal.

This government fights fire with feathers !

The only way to seriously stamp out crime in this country is to toughen our punishments.

Forget asbos and com service and wishy washy namby pamby loony leftish ideas.

Lets look at the lawyers for a start. It should not depend on the quality of your defence as to whether you escape punishment or not.
This is not justice but lunacy. The lawyers get fatter and the criminals are back on the street !
So lets look at the justice system.
Then look at the punishments.
OK our jails are bursting, so lets make the jails less attractive. Ban tellys. Ban games. Make the prisoners work hard cleaning, scrubbing floors, doing whatever can be found for them.
We dont need immigrants to sort rubbish....outsource this job to the prisons !
And any other job Brits reportedly wont do .
I cant post all ideas here but I have plenty more.

Our society is on a downward slope caused by the leftish notions not recognising human failings.......greed , anger, lust, sloth, revenge, fear, ....all these lead to crime. Lets face this head on for once !

ARM THE POLICE

I'm afraid the time has come when we have to do the sensible thing and arm our police. We have pussyfooted around too long being politically correct about this. You have to tackle violence with violence, not lollipops! Get real Jacqui Smith and give the police and public the protection they deserve. The police in Spain are armed and you feel safe walking the streets - they stand no nonsense and keep the streets safe for the ordinary person citizen. If we are not allowed to give these thugs the birch, then the police should be given the powers they need to make them behave! Metal detectors can play a part but unfortunately once they have located a knife or gun it could be too late! Yes there may be innocent lives lost, but what about the innocent lives of thousands of victims who should be the priority - not the crooks!

Nulabour soft on crime soft on the causes of crime, Gun crime, knife crime, immigration, Asylum seekers, interest rates all up the only thing going down is this country, the police, and Judges have there hands tied by this Government and the pc and human rights brigade
