Please tell us all how ID cards would tell us how many Illegals there are in Britain????
The million or so illegals won't have cards. The government don't know who, or where they are.
They haven't got a clue how many thousands are flooding in.
Give us a break.

Gordon Brown has not been elected as Prime Minister he was not even voted for as Labour leader by his party, he did not put a Labour candidate up against David Davis last year so how can someone with such a disregard for democracy have any further ligitamacy in office?
In addition to the financial mistakes this guy, who spent 10 years at the top of the treasury, has left us with he has also brought words into our vocabluary such as Starlinist Brown, Orwellian and Soviet Britain so he has well passed his sell by date and needs to go to the country TODAY!

Gordon has got us in such a mess he had to cut spending somewhere.He cant admit he got things wrong so is going to quietly dump spending plans.While telling us all that he is spending more.

ID CARDS ARE A GREAT IDEA...
...and should be made compulsory for every citizen in the British Isles.
Data safety is an excuse, our name, date of birth, photo and our address in a concealed chip, can be accessed through many other data bases. An ID card could be used to open bank accounts, show at the Doctors and Hospitals when we are admitted, and when we register our children at schools. No ID card, then no facilities. It would stop illegal immigrants, as it does in Europe.
Labour has wasted 5 BILLION POUNDS of our money once again.

YES - GREAT IDEA - PUT ALL YOU PERSONAL DATA ON ONE NICE CONVENIENT DATA BASE - LET SOME USELESS CIVIL SERVANT LEAVE IT ON A MEMORY STICK OR A LAPTOP - AND THEN SPEND THE REST OF YOUR LIFE TRYING TO PROVE THAT IT WASNT YOU THAT TOOK OUT ALL THOSE LOANS AND RAN UP ALL THOSE DEBTS.

WHY NOT JUST GIVE US ALL A NUMBER - MAYBE TATTOO IT ON OUR ARMS - THEN WHEN WE DIE THAT NICE MR BROWN CAN SEND HIS GOONS TO TAKE OUR GOLD TEETH TO BE MELTED DOWN TO REPLACE THE NATIONS GOLD THAT HE SOLD OFF SO CHEAPLY. GUESS THAT NICE MR HITLER AND MCBROWN HAD A LOT IN COMMON AFTER ALL.

AND DONT FALL FOR THE TWADDLE ABOUT "YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR IF YOU HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE". JUST ASK WHY IF THATS THE CASE MP's ARE STILL BLACKING OUT AND HIDING DETAILS OF THEIR EXPENSE CLAIMS?

ID cards are a great idea, all our data is on some computer somewhere anyway, so why not have an official ID that we can show to our Bank to open an account, our Doctor when we need medical care, the Hospital wen we need an operation, and the Schools when we want our children educated. Most of us carry a driving licence anyway, so another card won't make much difference and will allow the Government to know which area need more funds for Hospitals, Schools, Housing etc etc.

Our stature would have been less than a piece of plastic...everywhere you go your plastic would have been welcome but you yourself would be second place to a piece of plastic...
Unfortunately thats how Gordon and his nasty ZANULabour party see us... we are just tax fodder !
Every MP should have his/her blood group tattood under their arm in order to facillitate their eventual arrest and trial... !

IF WE WANT A PASSPORT...

Previously, anyone getting a passport after 2012(? I think) would also be forced to pay for a useless ID card as well. Is this still the case? No-one seems to be mentioning that.

We had still better watch out, our masters in Brussels will insist on some form of pan-european ID post Lisbon. Gordo and his circus of clowns, will still get the data they want by other means, passports etc, and still have their unilateral wet dream control freak databases.
