It is a tragedy that Menezes was killed and my sympathies to his family, truly. But given the context of when it happened, and what must have been going through those policemans minds,with split second decisions needed to be made? However horrific, it was wrong place and wrong time. We should all ask ourselves what we would have done. If H&S rules were broken then we should learn from them but a knee jerk reaction is unnecessary.
