We have fell for it again

Published: Wednesday November 4,2009 by Maggie

We were conned in 1975 and we are being conned now. Do we know why we were n ot allowed a referendum, not because it would have queered Blairs chance of being .president' because they knew the vote would be a no vote, was it another fiddle?
Ireland was forced into having 2 votes and we have had none. Shouldn't we be able claim this treaty should be null and void because it was achieved by blatant deceipt by a government
who signed without the will of the people and they know it. Why were we 'invited' to vote in 1975 if the government of the day could have just put it through without public consent?
