The cheek of it!

The M.P. for Crosby, Claire Curtis-Thomas is standing down at the next election in order "to spend more time with her family"! I couldn't understand why she didn't stand down now and spend even more time with her family! Nothing to do with the £64,000 golden handshake I presume?
