Why not try it?

Someone of 16 in Belgium wouldn't be breaking the law as they can purchase alcohol or go in bars and drink alochol up to 15%ABV. In Holland a parent can buy beer in a bar for their children over 15. Needless to say they don't have the problems with alcohol that we do, despite bars being open a lot longer in those countries than they are in this country with its laughingly called 24 hour opening.
As usual our only reaction to anything is to restrict it and make things appear more desirable to younger people as being "forbidden fruit".
Go to any euyropean country and there are bars where people of all ages, teenagers to retired people, can go out and feel comfortable unlike in this country with its huge drinking barns aimed solely at younger people. no wonder our pensioners tend to lok more miserable than the rest of Europe. they go out and enjoy themselves whilst ours are locked behind doors watching TV.
