MMR Jab....

Published: Thursday June 4,2009 by Rosw

When my son was born 23 years ago the MMR jab wasn't available, but when he was just turning 3 years old and of nursery school age I was informed of the MMR jab, it was called the pre-school jab, and was told then that some schools might not accept him if he wasn't vaccinated. I was quite happy for him to have it, which he did with no ill side effects. I had in my childhood been very close to death after catching measles so I am really pro the jab, but
saying that I wouldn't be keen on a baby of mine having it, 3 years old seemed the perfect age to
have the jab, but not in a developing baby.
I can understand totally parents who delay this jab, I really do think 3 is the perfect age for this one.
