No need to ban alcohol BUT......

No need to ban alcohol BUT just ban supermarkets from selling it.
Go back to the old and trusted ways of selling alcohol which is either from a public house or from a licensed Off Licence.
That way you would have more control over who buys it and during what hours.
Nowadays anybody can buy it in a supermarket almost 24 hours a day and much of it must be being sold at a loss by the supermarkets to entice customers in through the doors.
This free and easy way now of selling is ruining our children by enticing them to buy and drink through cheap offers and loss leaders.
Doing nothing is NOT an option so lets hope the politicians have the guts to do something about rather than ripping us all off with their expenses and cheap booze in the house of commons and burying their heads in the sand.
We haven't the Europe culture and never will.
Then again the words leopards and spots spring to mind.
