Is it that easy?

Let's look at it from a social viewpoint. It is, first and foremost, a drug of relaxation and inhibit remover. For many people in our facade of a society there is a need to cop out, drop out and switch off, reality is too tough to handle. We are all aware-or should be of this. There is definately a bad effect on the brain itself, physically that is, which will exacerbate psychological problems. Enjoy now, pay later, like simple smoking or boozing - it's taking out a mortgage on youth - and the payments get harder when you're older. Fining is not the smartest way out, it might even bring in that little bit of excitement in playing the avoid the law game. If social conditions improve when labour is ousted, and if more education about drugs is hammered home in schools by smart experts, then there is s achance, I feel , that excessive use can be curbed. I only hope so for the future benefit of our kids - who are our future as a nation.
