In a few words: I regret voting for the Common Market in 1974. I was misled as to its ultimate intentions and now I am older and wiser I am bitterly opposed to the European Super State.

TOO MUCH DAY TIME TELEVISION AT THE TAXPAYER'S EXPENSE

Published: Friday August 8,2008 by beefsandwich

Sure there are some people who really can't work because they are too ill.

However, there are many many more who have got into the habit of sitting at home watching day time television and as long as the benefit cheque keeps roling in they will not make any effort to pull themselves together.

I have met many people in that category.

They have had an illlness at some time but they have chosen to extend it ad infinitum because they can't face up to the shock of going back to work once they have recovered.

These people are skivers and need all the encouragement we can give them to get themselves back to work and off benefits.

Basically a severe case of lazyitis does not justify a sick note, nor does it justify receiving a nice juicy income at the expense of hardworking British people.
