We all fight our particular corner but most of us are drivers

It is already a struggle to keep the car insured, taxed, tested, maintained etc etc etc.
It looks like the poor will be marginilised further as the car slowly emerges as a luxury item.
So where are all the designers, engineers, inventors?
We know hydrogen works.
It comes from water
We can catch rainwater
We may produce nearly free energy
We could heat our houses too
Why is it not on the market ?
Answers on a postcard please..........
