Itotally agree with "snaredrum", where I live in wigan metro if a pig with a labour rosette round its neck, or even no labour candidate at all was standing they would still be elected. many people living in this area are so biased, and living in the past,they refuse to stand back and study what effect this band of villains has had on their lives. they will moan and winge like crazy , but comes the election they vote labour again, or just don't vote at all. it is high time voting was made compulsary as in australia with harsh penalties for failing to do so.
