TO BOOST HIS VOTES?

Published: Tuesday May 27,2008 by noway

RE - EmporerMing and your comments
4 years ago I emailed my Labour Mp to ask him the question 'why are you letting in so many immigrants is it to boost your labour vote?'
He did not respond.
Apart from employing them they cost this country BILLIONS
With some of the figures from DWP and Home office sites below-
£13.5 million to house 1,000 immigrants in 2006
£75 million for gov depts to monitor immigration
£1.5 billion on legal aid to immigrants
£30 million detention costs
£38 million on work permits to immigrants
Immigration costs council tax payers £200 million a year
Tens of million a year to teach English
Asylum seekers financially supported end of Dec '07 = 34,150
11,000 asylum seekers in receipt of benefits Dec 07 = 11,400
£80 million a year on translation cost to immigrants
£63 million to treat asylum seekers with HIV in 2004
46,890 asylym seekers asked for financial support in 2006/07
£5 billion to treat immigrants with HIV in 2002
£8.8 billion a year on open door policy to immigrants
THERE IS A HIDDEN AGENDA ON BROWNS'S PART - AND HE SAID HE WANTS MORE!!!
Last Nov I applied under the Freedom of Information to the DWP ' How much are we paying in benefits to immigrants'
They told me they could not supply the figure.
In that case how can the gov say they are of benefit to the economy - strange that they know how much tax they pay but not benefits paid out.
