In a few words: My home is where I live and work. I love to travel but I love to return to Englands green and pleasant lands. My grandchildren and their future is important to me. My sorrow is in the decline of simple moral values in our society.

last nights programme on immigration was wshed in rhetoric and innovative ideas about immigration

Published: Tuesday April 22,2008 by abuela

But instead of quelling my fears it fuelled them !
The general consensus being that tis latest influx of migrants were not here to settle but to work and milk the system for all they could get and then go back home.
"Well its been nice having you.," doesnt ring quite true. It is impossible to build a working infrastructure such as schools, hospitals etc when we dont know how many people are to be here at any one time.
If they come with children they will use our system, claim our benefits, but have no desire to live the British way of life and have no insentive to support Britain or integrate.
Britain is not a place of work !
It is a community !
The towns and villages are becoming places to flit in and out of. Again I state our cultural heritage is being eroded !
The programme stressed the need for populations to move around various countries to find work.
I thought we were supposed to cut down on our travel. Instead we are now encouraged to fly from country to country in search of work and a better life !
As I have said before the Britain that we once knew with neighbours, friends, community spirit and activities are dissapearing.
Before you come on CFB telling me to stop harking back to the past....I understand the need to travel......I love travelling !
But the need to come home is greater.
I dont want my home to be a stopping place for all and sundry to milk !!!
