Watery arguments

Published: Thursday April 3,2008 by gimleteye7

There seems to be a quite fatuous assumption underlying all this that the "gay naturist" sessions somehow pose a danger to others, especially children, who use the public baths. It's well-known that public swimming baths are a favourite haunt of paedophiles and the mothers who take their children to these places might like to consider that they could have more to fear from that "respectable" pensioner splashing around in his swimming trunks than those who have openly declared their sexual orientation and have arranged to use the facilities available for private sessions.
As for those who presumably have no evidence, other than that conjured up by their own overheated, lurid imaginations, that orgies are taking place at these bath sessions, or that the members of the naturist group are infected with terrible diseases, I suggest that they might like to consider the point made some days ago by Rothaymere....presumably the same Rothaymere who invokes here the spectacle of Roman orgies and is prone to making sweeping statements declaring that homosexuals have no respect for others...that the laws of libel apply to comments made on these web-pages.
