What 24 hour drinking?
Published: Sunday March 30,2008 by A_Realist
More nonsense from people when it comes to pubs and drinking. What 24 hour drinking is it that someone refers to? Pubs are open on average for 12 hours, the shortest opening hours in Europe. In a week when this country has been criticised for parents spending less time with their children than anywehere else someone moans about people taking their children into bars. The opposite of which happens in europe where parents are out with their children, introducing them to alcohol at ana early age and showing them alcohol is part of a night out not the be all and end all like it is for a group of blokes downing pints in a a male dominated boozer. The european bars are also open far longer and often sell cheaper drinks than we do. Which is the country with all the problems related to alcohol? Which is the better way of going on - theirs or ours?
