In a few words:

NOT GUILTY?

Published: Saturday February 23,2008 by Nalin

It is beyond ones imagination why anyone should be placed on the DNA data base when they are not guilty or are never charged for the suspected offence.

The DNA samples and fingerprintng of the suspects before they are found guilty, and thereafter not removing them from the database, should be considered a crime in itself and the authorities prosecuted.

The jails are full of people who are criminalised on the flimsiest grounds (such as non-payment of "illegal" council taxes and other government debts) whereas the real culprits are left free to roam the streets.

If the Home Secretary, with her 24 hours police protectection, is afraid to walk the streets of London, one can image the plight of the ordinary people.
