The people of England should be governed by one law and one law alone and that is English Law, the Scots do have differences I believe, but they don't ask for them to be taken into account if they are made to stand trial in England (or at least not to the best of my knowledge). The Archbishop ought to be ashamed of himself and resign. I think we ought to take a page out of France's book - when at school you abide by the traditional dress code of the country - irrespective of your religion - so no outward show of any religion is allowed, if you want your own laws - go back to where they apply. The Jewish community abide by the law of this land, yes they have arbitration but the decisions of their councils are not binding in British Law. It is the same with schooling, if a Jewish family wish their child to study the Jewish religion they send them to a Jewish School paid for by the Jewish Community - not the state. It appears to the followers of Islam want jam on their bread when they pay their taxes, I don't honestly see why they ought to get it - after all generations of families have lived, worked and paid taxes in this country and a great many of them have always had the barest minimum in return.
