The spokesman also confirmed that firms who build any new nuclear stations - if they are given the go-ahead - will be expected to fully fund the cost of future decommissioning of the stations.

He also said the energy companies would be expected to pay "their full share" of the cost of long-term management of nuclear waste.

Like they did in the sixties?? When the cost of decommissioning was foisted onto the electric bills??

They don't seriosly expect the British Public to trust any UK government to be in charge of Nuclear power, in any shape or form do they??
