remember the furore in the US when john lennon said that the beatles were 'bigger than jesus?' death threats, mass protests, burining albums and all that sort of thing. wasn't muslims though was it? it was fundamentalist christians... and yet, we don't tar all christians (or americans for that matter) with the same brush. yet people have no problem doing that with muslims.
